We built the tool we needed at 11pm on a Sunday.
InvoiceRelief exists because chasing payments is the worst part of freelancing — and it shouldn't be.
Every freelancer has been there: the invoice is three weeks late, you've rewritten the follow-up email five times, and you're somehow the one who feels awkward — even though they owe you money.
We looked at the tools that were supposed to fix this. They were built for finance teams, cost hundreds a month, and took hours to set up. All we wanted was something that would send a friendly nudge, then a firmer one, and let us get back to actual work.
So we built it. Five templates, email and WhatsApp delivery, five minutes of setup, $9 a month. That's the whole product — on purpose.
What we believe
Most late invoices aren't malice — they're chaos. A polite, persistent nudge fixes almost all of them. You shouldn't have to be the one sending it.
We're a small, independent team. No venture funding, no growth-at-all-costs roadmap, no plans to become an “all-in-one business platform.” We do one thing and try to do it well.
Questions, ideas, or just want to vent about a late-paying client? We read every email.
